BIOL490 Introduction of Quantum Computing (Teaching Assistant)

The purpose of the course was to introduce students to the fascinating field of quantum computing and inspire them to pursue a career in quantum technologies. Some of the key objectives for the course were:
Introduce to students to complex numbers, linear algebra, and the required quantum mechanics for the quantum computing course.
Give them hands-on training in running programs on various quantum computers available from Rigetti, IonQ, DWave, and Oxford Quantum Computing.
Train them in using the qBraid platform for accessing various kinds of quantum computers.
Teach students the basics of constructing quantum circuits for various algorithms.
Present an overview of various applications that stand to benefit from quantum computing.
